I love treats and believe in the all-foods-fit Motto. A lot of my kitchen experiments are me trying to figure out how to make yummy whole-food treats that support health, fun and satisfying. That being said, if I want a cookie, I eat a cookie. Head over to the treats tab to check out some easy and delicious recipes!
About Me
My name is Sapna Bhalsod and I’m a Michigander living in the dreamland that is Santa Monica. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics from Michigan State University, a Master’s of Science in Nutrition for Wellness from Bastyr University, and I’m currently finishing my credentials to become a certified registered dietitian.
You could say health and nutrition are a great passion of mine, but even more so is helping others find their place in the realm of wellness. Since high school, I’ve struggled with my health and determining what I should be eating to support my body and symptoms. What I’ve learned through a lot of trial and error, my education, and chronic GI issues is that wellness starts by creating a relationship between ourselves and our body. My goal is to help others form this personal bond and grow their wellness philosophy.
My wellness philosophy, or My Plate, includes Indian food, cooking with my family, yoga, skateboarding, camping, the environment, reading, healing my thyroid, sharing meals with my friends, and so much more.
Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you gain something here to help you build your own wellness philosophy.
